Radical Shades: Custom Embroidery Orders
Radical Shades welcomes expression of personality, and we often handle custom orders for people with specific needs. If you would like a quote on a custom order, or want to find out more about how we handle custom images, please contact us.
For Custom Orders:
A request for a custom order initiates a procedure. In order for Radical Shades to be able to process a custom order to your satisfaction you should appreciate that it will take time to create and digitize the custom image, order the materials and create the appropriate stitch work. This time factor will vary owing to the many changeable factors involved with each custom order such as labor, communication and product shipping. We will do our very best to produce a quality embroidered image for the product you have ordered. In the event of any unforseen delay we shall contact you by e-mail to keep you informed of the progress of your order.
Custom Orders do take time, orders usually take about 2 to 8 weeks [depending on complexity] completion from the start date to final production. [Please note there may be times when completion time may vary due to shipping and back orders of product, these delays are out of Radical Shades' control]
In the course of the custom embroidery, it is very important for the customer to reply to all emails and phone calls, in order to speed the delivery date.
There are several stages to the completion of the finished product and since most custom orders are of a one of a kind, the standard pricing (Digitizing Fee non-refundable paid in full) is requested before image digitizing begins. This cost allows for the creation time in various stages, from image creation, to digitizing, to stitching out a sample or samples before actual production of the custom order.
Digitizing Fees: are approximate call for a quote.
3 x 3 inch image or smaller: approx. 6,000 to 10,000 stitches - Price from $60.00
4 x 5 inch image: approx. 10,000 to 20,000 stitches - Price from $85.00
7 x 7 inch image: approx. 25,000 100,000 stitches and higher - Price from $100.00 and up
Note: Digitizing fee increases according to size and complexity
Digitizing fee + stitch count + product cost & quantity = Final Product
example:
[$100.00 for digitizing fee]+[for a 6,000 stitch count image on 1- tshirt {$30.00}=$130.00Total cost of final product]
To begin the Custom Ordering Process: Call Radical Shades (206)324-3353 or 1-877-285-0895. We will gather the necessary information needed and request the image be sent through email. You will receive a confirmation letter stating we have received the image and your order is in process.
Pricing: Pricing varies greatly depending upon the specific request of each order and the availability of the products. It is important to remember when you are creating a one of a kind, the cost can make or break the desire. Please choose wisely. It is Radical Shades' wish you are happy with the final product.
Products: Products which are not standard items are considered Custom Orders.
Garments: any garment that is not listed in the product information but is requested, will be considered a Custom Order.
Images: Images that are not stock items are considered Custom Orders.
Specific Colors: When a customer requests a specific color, which is not in stock of our usual items, will be considered Custom Orders.
Please note that policies may change owing to demand. If an image or product is in great demand, we will try to present the item as a standard stock item.
After an Image has been digitized and stitched:
Samples are photographed, and the image is then sent to the customer via email.
After the sample has been sent to the customer for review, the customer must then pay the balance in full for the completion of the order.
IN THE EVENT THE CUSTOMER IS NOT SATISFIED WITH THE FINISHED CUSTOM ORDER, THE CUSTOMER HAS 21 DAYS FROM THE FINAL PAYMENT TO RETURN
